I am looking at the Ruger 10/22 with target crown and spiral finish as a plinker that I can use a suppressor on. Will having the spiral outer finish on the barrel cause issues when threading it?

No you will have to lathe the barrel down and thread it thats about it, also recommend getting a thread protector as well. Vet
