| my son brought home a remmington .300 saum the other day with 4 boxes of 168 gr barnes tsx bullets. anybody got any advice on loading for it, i have tried barnes bullets in the past without much luck.i loaded some 150 nosler accubonds i had around, and the gun shoots well.i have heard they dont like to be loaded out to the lands. any info will be helpful before i start burning valuable powder up. thanks |

LR,with the barnes bullets you have to play with the seating depth,thats all.Theyre a good bullet,I didnt think they were worth it either,then I tried seating depth.The barnes number 3 manual doesnt have anything on the saum,sorry.Steve's reloading page recommends,as best powder,W760,55.5 min to 65.5 max.Sorry I couldnt help more. |
