I'm new to this forum and would like to say hello to all. I'm not sure if I should have started a new thread for this and if I should have, I apologize.
My son uses a Mini 14 and is shooting .223 reloads of: 55 gr SP Bullet, 23 gr H322 powder with an overall length of 2.260. Yesterday he was shooting the Mini 14 and with 2 of 30 rounds it literally chopped the bullet in two. Looking at the pics he sent me it appears to be about 3/4" above base of bullet. I have shot these reloads in my AR15 with no ill effect. Anyone got any ideas?
