this must explain why the deer appears to be running away after the impact. it is not in fact running away. it is accelerating at an equal rate opposite of the bullet, which itself , now is doing the same thing.

| Maybe I'm thinking along the wrong lines but the discussion between these two people involved two bullets of the same mass. Any animal I have shot had a lot more mass than the bullet. How would that work in? |
