| I have only killed two buck Mule deer with the Ballistic tips. They were 140 grain bullets shot from a 7MM-08 remington Mountain difle. Both bullets in two seperate animals came all topieces and all I could find was parts of the bases of the bullets with no lead attached. The Nosler Ballistic bullets are accurate and both deer were dead but the preformance as far as expansion was terrible. I am a Nosler fanb of 30 years and shoot a lot of their bullets. But not a Ballistic Tip for deer fan.... |

| I shot a mature Blacktail Buck last year at 210 yards, 3006 150gr Balistic tip 2900 FPS. Perfect double lung placement. The Buck just stood there for 10 seconds after the shot then colapsed. He was in shock. There was no exit wound and the amount of recoverd bullet was small. The entry went through the middle of a rib starting the expantion at the start. |

| I too first tried Nosler BT when sold in 100s.
They are very accurate bullets, but come apart in game and did a lot of unnecssary damage.I was but off when they started marketing them in 50s, when they did not perform like good game bullets. The best Nosler whitetail bullet I have used is the SB lead tip, but at times there is a lot of core slippage. From my hunting experience to date, I am not a fan of any Nosler bullets. I now use Hornady SST and Interbond.Geart bullets at a good price in 100s. |
